Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Transformer Testing Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our transformers. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in testing and verifying transformer performance to meet industry standards and customer specifications.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

- Conduct routine (Factory Acceptance Test) and type tests on distribution and power transformers according to IEC/ANSI/IEEE standards, including electrical, mechanical, and thermal testing in accordance with industry standards. 

- Analyze test results, prepare comprehensive reports, and suggest necessary improvements or modifications. 

- Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure test results align with design specifications. 

- Troubleshoot issues identified during testing and work alongside engineers for solutions. 

- Maintain testing equipment and arrange for calibration and repairs when necessary. 

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all testing procedures. 

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methods and procedures. 

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. 

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in transformer testing or a related field. 

- Strong understanding of electrical systems and transformer functionalities. 

- Proficient in the use of testing and measurement instruments. 

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. 

- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality. 

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
